![]() I do have a Samsung Galaxy Tab (Android), and since it doesn't have a USB port, I purchased a USB adapter I also have a USB multi-card reader (for the SD card) it works fine transferring files to my Samsung. Additionally I don't want to use it outside the car if it's raining. I do have a laptop, but I don't typically take it with me (where I could install the Lukas Viewer) furthermore I don't want to store it in the car in the event that I need to access it it's gets much to hot inside the car during the summer months for me to risk the effect of instense heat on its components. I want to be able to, most likely, view the video ONLY in the scenario of having an accident and being able to show an investigating police offer what the video shows (and yes I'm aware that many don't think doing that is a good idea). The other, your regular phone, is the viewer through which you can see what’s being picked up by the camera. Install the app on both, and the old one becomes the camera that surveys the area you want to monitor. I've downloaded and read the owner manual. This app requires two devices, which is easy if you have an old mobile phone or tablet lying around. ![]() I am about to take my first foray into the realm of auto dash cams, and am giving serious consideration to the LUKAS LK-7900 ACE. e., has anyone tried this and does it/does NOT work? My question includes whether my initial idea as to how to do that will work, i. This is a question about coming up with a way to view the dash cam's video while driving about.
